Woman Up Climbing Festival: Citizen's Competition

Woman Up is only a few months away, August 22-23, at Class 5 in Torrance, and we're thrilled that this year’s Woman Up will be the first-ever roped-climbing competition!

The Woman Up Citizen Competition is a fun, welcoming climbing event for women and underrepresented genders—especially those who are newer to climbing, new to competitions, or looking for a supportive challenge and a chance to meet other climbers.

The competition is self-scored, and you set the pace. Whether looking to push yourself on creative climbs set by an all-female and nonbinary routesetting crew, try your first “comp,” or enjoy a day of movement, encouragement, and connection, you belong.

Friends, family, and allies are encouraged to attend, spectate, and support.

In honor of Class 5's first Woman Up and Woman Up's first rope comp, we are offering special pricing for 2026! Members may book with a non-member and give their friend a special discounted rate.

Woman Up donates all proceeds to a non-profit that increases diversity in the climbing and outdoor recreation world. This year, we're thrilled to announce WalkGood LA as the 2026 beneficiary.
