After School Camp

Our After School Climbing Camps are offered from August through May. Campers meet for two (2) hours once a week for eight (8) weeks.

• Fall After School Camp (August - December) registration opens June 1st. 
• Winter/Spring After School Camp (January - May) registration opens September 1st.

Age Requirements: 7 to 12 

Our After School Climbing Camps are a great after-school activity for new climbers looking to develop their climbing skills or returning climbers looking to refresh their basic understanding of climbing techniques. Participants will meet once a week for eight weeks with our amazing instructors and participate in an ongoing practice schedule that is reflective of our more advanced programs (Club Team and Team Touchstone). Our experienced and supportive staff emphasize personal responsibility and encourage each camper to set and achieve their goals. 

Upon completion, climbers may join another camp session if they wish to continue building confidence in their new skills.** Climbers who can confidently belay and/or boulder and wish to develop their skills further are encouraged to talk to their instructors about advancing to the Club Team, our ongoing weekly youth program (based on space, program availability, and climber ability).

Our climbing camps should not be viewed as ongoing or developmental programs. We highlight this to ensure kids and parents understand that each week is a fresh start and the curriculum resets. However, climbing is a continuous learning process, and kids who enjoy building on their skills may benefit from multiple weeks of camp. Parents and kids who are interested in a developmental program can add their child to our Climbing Club and Team waitlist.

Those interested in joining our Club and Team Programs must have taken at least one session of After-School or Summer Climbing Camp or have prior climbing experience elsewhere.
