Intro to Climbing Class
The quickest way to get climbing. In one hour, you’ll learn the basic skills needed to start rope climbing: how to secure your harness, tie a figure 8 follow-through knot, complete your safety checks, belay using an ATC belay device, catch a fall, and lower your climber back to the ground.
- Required for anyone who cannot pass our belay test
- All participants must be 13 or older
- Please arrive 15 minutes early

Do you often make reservations or bookings with others? If so, link your account with others using your Touchstone Climbing ID. Head to your Customer Portal, and from the menu, select Friends and Family. There, you can copy your ID to share with others or enter others' IDs.
