Why FilipinUp?FilipinUp creates spaces for people to connect through climbing and outdoor experiences while celebrating Filipino culture and building community. The Post is also where we hosted our very first Socal meetup, so we’re excited to come back and celebrate FAHM where it all started.
What is Filipino American History Month?Filipino American History Month is celebrated every October to recognize the history, culture, experiences, and contributions of Filipino Americans. October marks the first recorded arrival of Filipinos in what is now the continental United States in 1587. FAHM is a time to honor our history, celebrate our culture, and bring our community together.
