Self-Rescue Clinic
Description: Learn the basic building blocks of self-rescue, including how to tie and use friction hitches, configuring belays without a device, and ascending and descending a rope. You will likely get more out of this class if you have lead and outdoor experience, but it is open to all levels of climbers!

3 Hours of Instruction
Prerequisites:
- Touchstone Climbing Belay Card
- Have some experience building anchors
Gear: If you own the following, please bring it with you.
- Harness
- Belay device
- Grigri (will be more functional for this class), ATC guide, or Reverso
- Prusik/hitch cord
- Locking carabiners
- Slings and cordelette
- Anything you would use to build anchors or typically have on your harness
- Gym rope
Participants: 2 Minimum - 6 Maximum
Price: $90 Member, $125 Non-Member
RESERVATIONS: All clinics require a reservation. If you do not have a reservation, please ask the front desk if there is space before attending the clinic.
CANCELLATIONS: To receive a refund, cancellations must be received at least 72 hours before the clinic date. If fewer than 3 students enroll, this clinic may be canceled 24 hours before the clinic date.
NO-SHOW: No Refund.
